Optical multiplexer PolyKom-300U-I is designed for simultaneous transmission of:
- 4, 8 or 16 streams of E1;
- Traffic of Ethernet 10/100BASE-T, 100 Mbit / c;
- asynchronous data stream (1-port RS-232 up to 115.2 kbit / s) one (WDM), or two Fiber Optic Cables (FOC).
via one (WDM) or two fibers of optical cable. Transmission speed over optical channel is 152 Mbps.
This PDH solution is effective at creating a distributed network with a small capacity of individual segments and for the organization of tapoffs (the "last mile") of SDH route.

Equipment control is performed by:
- the F joint (RS-232) using any standard ANSI - terminal;
- the Q interface (Ethernet 10/100BASE-T) protocol SNMP v.1.0 using any SNMP manager, Telnet.
- with LCD display and buttons on the front panel.
Optical Multiplexer PolyKom-300U-I provides comprehensive management capabilities with use of a PC:
- control over local and remote equipment in real time;
- reconfiguration of local and remote devices (including loopbacks);
- view the log of the events at the local and remote equipment.
Equipment Interfaces meet the standards of Itu-t G.823, G.747, G.704, G.703, G.651, G.652, G.654.
Possible variants of optical interface:
- 1310 nm for single-mode fiber;
- 1550 nm for single-mode fiber;
- bidirectional transceiver 1310 / 1550 nm (WDM) for the organization of work in fiber mode.
