Optic modem PolyKom-200СК is designed for transformation of electric E1 signals into an optical signal.
The converted signal is transmitted via one or two fiber optic cablse.
Couple of such devices is an ideal solution for transmission of E1 stream to the distance of up to 110 km.
In order to ease of use, there is a version of the optical modem for installation into 19" rack (basket), 3U - PolyKom-200K, which provides work of up to 12 modems in a single rack.
Features of this equipment:
- signal analysis at E1 junction in accordance with ITU-T G.775 Recommendation
- built-in monitoring system for control over station joint and the linear path of the local and remote equipment;
- display of a current state by single indicators, notification about the emergency by sound signal and by stand signaling ("dry contacts");
- built-in intercom with the operator of remote equipment (voice channel);
- low power consumption (less than 3 W).
Equipment interfaces compliant with ITU-T G.823, G.651, G.652, G.654.
Possible variants of execution optical interface:
- 1 310 nm for single-mode fiber;
- 1 550 nm for single-mode fiber;
bidirectional transceiver 1 310 / 1 550 nm (WDM) for the organization of work in single-mode fiber.
