Optical modem Polycom-200K is designed for operation in the 19" mainframe (krait), 3U, and up to 12 units can be installed in a single rack. This product works together with the Polycom-200CK and is designed for transformation of E1 electric signals into an optic signals. The converted signal is transmitted via one or two fiber optic cables.
This PDH is an effective solution in building of distributed networks with a small capacity of individual segments and for organization of tapoffs ("the last mile") from the SDH mains.
Features of this equipment:
- signal analysis at E1 joint in accordance with ITU-T G.775 Recommendation;
- built-in control system for station joint and linear path of the local and remote equipment;
- display of the current status by single indicators, notification about an accident by rack-signalling ("dry contacts");
- low power consumption (less than 3 W).
Equipment Interfaces compliant with ITU-T G.823, G.651, G.652, G.654.
Possible variants of optical interface:
- 1 310 nm for single-mode fiber;
- 1 550 nm for single-mode fiber;
bidirectional transceiver 1 310 / 1 550 nm (WDM) for the organization of work in single-fiber mode.
