Polycom-300E is desigened for transformation of 16 streams of E1 into one standard E3 stream and transmission ovre one communication channel (copper cable) with ability to drop streams.

Couple of these devices is an ideal solution for transmission of 16xE1 with the help of radio-relay lines. It is possible to use 3 or more devices in a chain with the possibility of input-output of streams on intermediate exchanges (multihop network).



Features of this equipment:

  • management via RS-232 joint by using the standard ANSI-terminal;
  • built-in intercom with the operator of remote equipment (voice communication channel);
  • possibility of input-output of streams at repeater stations;
  • event logging (including errors);
  • display of the current status of single indicators, notification about the emergency by sound signal and through a rack-signalling ("dry contacts");
  • low power consumption (up to 4 W);
  • control over the local and remote equipment.

Control equipment are shown on the junction of the F (RS-232) using any of the standard ANSI - terminal.

Polycom-300E provides ample opportunities of management with the help of PC:

  • monitoring of local and remote equipment in the real-time mode;
  • configuration of the local and remote equipment (including cables installation);
  • view of the event log on the local and remote equipments.
