Modules for SNMPc

The use of SNMP-managers uniforms management and control over equipment, however all the parameters are typically displayed in tables with indistinctive names. To simplify the work of a user many SNMP-managers support additional modules that can be used to provide information on specific equipment in the form of a graphical interface.

Modules for SNMP-managers can:

• Provide information about the status of the equipment ports and their basic configurations in convenient graphical form;
• Reduce information load on the operator, what is achieved by mapping of only the most important parameters in the module window;
• reduce operator`s training time, as the graphical interface and built-in menu of the module is sufficient for full control over the equipment and its state (*);
• manage the hardware and its individual elements settings using the built-in menu.

(*) Note. Modules for SNMP-managers can not handle traps generated by the equipment. SNMP-manager is processing these traps.
